OPERATION

The Sigma mixer is designed for batch operation, with the following sequence of operations. Loading of one or various products. Carried out through the top of the trough, with the cover in raised position Kneading or homogenization. The mixing is carried out by the action of two "Z" shaped blades placed in the bottom of the trough horizontally and parallel, which rotate convergently at different speeds guiding the product flow inan "w" shaped pattern inside the trough.

DISCHARGE

Discharge of the mixed product can be carried out by:

·      Tilting the trough forward, through the use of a hydraulic system. The cover is automatically lifted backwards and out of the way during discharge.

·      Via bottom valves (plug, ball, sliding gate, etc.)

·      Bottom Extruder System
